  • Hail Storm hits several areas accross Mid-State Tennessee

    Golf Ball sized Hail from Tuesday's Storm MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Hail storms moved through parts of the Mid-State on Tuesday afternoon leaving behind a fair share of damage.

    The hail covered the ground in many parts of Murfreesboro.

    David Lynn is the owner of Adventure Limousine. He told Nashville's News 2 a few of his cars were damaged during the storm, causing around $500 to $600 in damages.

    "We were inside the building, we have a metal roof and it literally sounded like someone was tearing our roof off," he said.

    Rutherford County resident Sandra Barton said her vehicle was also damaged in the hail storm.

    "They said [the hail] had busted the seal around the windshield and caused the water to drain in," she said.

    The hail was reported to be tennis ball size.
